Storytelling with Motion Design
Sherlock Holmes-kinetic typography
Food poverty: storytelling with motion graphics

The concept
- So before I began a few things were clear: without video, interviews or any voiceover, the weight of the film rested entirely on things like image design, colour, typography and music.
Chloe at VInspired had a brief in mind, and I used that to begin scribbling ideas. I often draw up pages of ideas and doodles for each project - your first idea is rarely the best.
Motion graphic notes

In the absence of a human voice it was clear music would be a key part in conveying emotion, and cueing the audience to feel certain ways. I often use UK royalty-free music house AudioNetwork for client projects: as well as a huge range of music their tracks are very high quality.
